Rural West Virginia faces persistent barriers to emergency preparedness, including long EMS response times and limited access to certified training. Our initiative addresses these challenges by providing community-based AED training, CPR Training, First Aid training, and Bloodborne Pathogens training directly to underserved areas. By bringing hands-on, medically informed instruction to workplaces, schools, churches, and community groups, we empower residents to respond confidently during cardiac arrests, injuries, and opioid overdoses—emergencies where immediate action often determines survival.
Our approach blends evidence-based curriculum, including our Basic Life Support Class, on-site instruction, and harm-reduction principles to build a sustainable culture of safety across rural communities. With scalable training models, mobile equipment, and partnerships throughout North-Central West Virginia, our company is led by E.L. Ridenour Solutions LLC, a West Virginia–based training organization with professional experience in AED training, CPR Consulting, First Aid training, and Bloodborne Pathogens training, supported by a certified trainer dedicated to improving public health outcomes in rural Appalachia.
Born and raised among the rolling hills and picturesque landscapes of West Virginia, I am deeply rooted in family values and the ideals of hard work, resilience, and community. My strong belief in God and my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, guides my path and adds significant meaning to my personal and professional journey. My approach to First Aid training, along with CPR training and Bloodborne Pathogens training, focuses on providing comprehensive health and wellness solutions, ensuring top-notch training experiences in the area, including our Basic Life Support class and AED training.
Certified in NEMT since 2017, I have also become a Certified Transportation Specialist as of 2023. As a Certified Naloxone Trainer with WVDII since 2022 and a Certified Opioid Antagonist train-the-trainer with WVDOHS by 2026, I am dedicated to safety and education in West Virginia. This includes providing AED training and First Aid training to ensure preparedness. Additionally, I serve as an American Heart Association CPR Instructor and a BLS Instructor since 2026, offering comprehensive CPR training and Bloodborne Pathogens training to cover all aspects of emergency response.
Empowering North Central West Virginia with comprehensive First Aid training, CPR training, and Bloodborne Pathogens training, along with AED training to show the community that there is so much more to First Aid than just a bandaid, including the importance of Basic Life Support classes.
